Our History
2016Organization Founded
The Association grew out of social media interactions between active older adults in October of 2016. The Super Senior International Pickleball Association became a Domestic Nonprofit Corporation in Denton, Texas on December 14, 2016. The Association achieved 501(c)(3) IRS status.
2017We Organization Team-Up with MemberLeap
We develop MemberLeap as our association management software and communication tool.
2018Circuit Tournaments
The Super Senior International Pickleball Association announced three pilot tournaments in 2017 and offers multiple point circuit events in 2018.
2020SSIPA Becomes an Acronym.
On February 10, 2020, Super Senior International Pickleball Association filed to do business as SSIPA.
2022 US Senior Pickleball Forms
US Senior Pickleball (USSP) forms as a division of SSIPA July 30,2021 and becomes a major association of our members January 1, 2022.
2022USSP Zones Created
USSP announces the delivery of services through three zones.
